The Next Generation Manufacturing Investment Programme is a $60 million competitive grants programme.
The programme is part of the $155 million Growth Fund which was established to support employees, businesses and regions affected by the closure of Australia’s car manufacturing industry by 2017.
The Next Generation Manufacturing Investment Programme supports businesses that are investing in capital projects to establish or expand high value manufacturing operations in South Australia and Victoria.
Grants are available for up to 50% of eligible costs for projects with a minimum investment of $1 million.
The South Australian and Victorian State Governments have each contributed $12 million to the programme.
