EZY-FIT Marine

Based in the Defence State of South Australia, Ezy-Fit Marine Pty Ltd is Australia’s premier manufacturer of marine grade hydraulic cylinders for ships, rigs, submersibles and underwater machinery. Our cylinders are custom designed to suit the task at hand, taking into account the design requirements of the specific application and diverse environmental conditions experienced in the planets’ most rigorous and difficult operating conditions.

Ezy-Fit Hydraulics was established in 1993 by Managing Director, Terry Kerin, in modest facilities located North of Adelaide. Since then, the company has experienced continuous success and growth, necessitating the need to continually expand its operations.

Operating out of our Salisbury South premises of 3,000 metres of floor space on 1.2 hectares of land, Ezy-Fit now employs around 50 staff.

We have many years experience in the design and manufacture of cylinders built to Class requirements, with designs approved by such Classification Societies as

  • Germanischer Lloyd,
  • Lloyds Register of Shipping,
  • Det Norske Veritas,
  • American Bureau of Shipping,
  • Bureau Veritas and many others

Our design and production facilities use the latest CAD/CAM technology and we are capable of producing cylinders from the smallest to the largest of that required for all types of shipping, subsea and offshore work. Manufacture in exotic materials such as Duplex and Super Duplex stainless steels is commonplace for us, with some of our many designs gracing the likes of US Naval vessels such as the Littoral Combat Ship and Joint High Speed Vessel.

Low temperature and severe service designs are also in our repertoire, and we are constantly involved in research and development of new technologies to solve existing and, as of yet, unforseen engineering problems as a result of emerging requirements.
